Design Your Own Art Project
While thinking of ideas, I came up with the idea of creating an animation, since I am going into that field and would like some practice. I didn't want to go too hardcore, so I came up with an idea to base an animation off one of the most popular obstacle course-style games- Geometry Dash. I started out by laying out the classic geometry dash scene- a background of blue square tessellations, and a floor of dark blue squares. I then began designing my characters, which mainly consisted of the centrally focused yellow an blue "character", who would later mount a ship. I designed all the spikes, sawblades, and walls the character would slide across, and even added a speed booster to add intensity. Finally, I started animating the scene, but I had more than just the character; the camera, several lighting pieces, the ship, and each of the sawblades had to be either jumping, following, or spinning.
This project had several points of trouble well after the point of no return. I had to trim the end off due to the complexity of animating the ship, it was this hard because I couldn't undo a constraint that screwed with the path option. I was more confident and proud in the beginning, but I am still proud of the outcome in spite of the glitchy issues. Next time, I'd make sure that I do a rough map out of the scene, the do that path and object that follows it, if any, first before anything to ensure not reconfiguring the path constraint. I am glad that things turned out smooth and pristine, I hope others will see that 24+ hours only makes very simple outcomes, even as an intermediate animator. I hope to take this a learning experience to analyze the "Order of Operations of Animating", as doing things in the right order can save hours or days, and I hope to make things twice as good in this amount of time in the near future.

Self Portrait Project
In this project, I designed an image that uses subtle symbolism to describe myself. I simply took a selfie, then allocated symbolic pieces that represent me. Using Photoshop, I used elements that resonate with me and indicate some of my natural talents, perspectives, and descriptions.
Symbolically speaking, my mind and imagination stretch to uncalculatable limits, therefore, space behind me defines me. I am also a philosopher, I think about the future and imagine alternate worlds that I often like to create and put into my work. I like to think about whether or not fiction is the same as false, therefore, my all-seeing eye sees all kinds of perspectives... perhaps the least understood ones. I am a digital engineer, and I master the world of 2-D, including video, photo, and program. I spend my life on the computer designing new things with my broad imagination, and therefore with only some simple blue-light glasses... I can do anything with a keyboard in front of me.
